Racket Club Live

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

Racket Club Live ("we", "us") runs the online padel, pickleball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, squash and beach tennis games Padel Club Live, Pickle Club Live, Ping Pong Club Live, Badminton Club Live, Tennis Club Live, Squash Club Live and Beach Tennis Club Live at racketclublive.com (formerly padelclublive.com). This policy explains what information we collect when you play, why, and the choices you have. We keep it to what the game needs: no advertising, no selling of data, and no third-party tracking.

What we collect

Account detailsIf you sign in with Google or Discord: an ID from that service and your display name (as a starting point: you choose the name others see). We don't receive your email address or password, and we don't take your profile picture: your picture in the game is your character's face.
SteamIf you play the Steam version: your Steam ID, so Steam can sign you in (and into the account you linked it to). The game shows friends on Steam where you are in it (for example in the Clubhouse, or the score of your match) and unlocks your Steam achievements. We don't keep your Steam name, picture, friends list or anything else from Steam.
Guest detailsIf you play as a guest: the name you choose and a random guest ID.
CountryThe country you pick, or one estimated from your connection, shown next to your name and used for country rankings.
Game dataMatches, scores, ratings, rankings, tournament results, XP, challenges, drill scores, unlocked items, friends, club membership and reports you make or receive. Your ratings are also noted once a day and kept for ten days, so the rankings can show how far you've moved since last week.
Technical dataYour IP address is used briefly to limit abuse (we store only a one-way hash, for minutes) and to place match servers near you. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs. If the app crashes, it may send us the error message, the page address and your browser type.
Clubhouse chatIf you use typed chat: what you write, when, and in which Clubhouse world, plus reports on messages, and any mutes. Before you can chat we ask when you were born, but we only keep whether you're 16 or over, never the date.
Device IDA random ID your browser makes for the game and keeps (it isn't built from anything about your device). We note which accounts have used it, only to spot suspended players making new accounts.
Messages with our teamIf we message you in the game (for example about your account, a report or feedback): our messages and any replies you send, and when.
NotificationsIf you turn on match notifications, the push address your browser gives us.
PaymentsIf you buy the supporter pack, Stripe handles the payment. We receive a payment reference, amount and currency, never your card details.
How you found usWhen you first play as a guest or make an account, we note how you arrived, as a category only: for example a search engine, Reddit, a link on Discord, a friend's invite, the Discord or Steam app, or typed in. It shows us which places bring new players. We never keep the address of the page you came from, and nothing is stored on your device for it.
Usage countsA few anonymous daily totals (for example, how many people finished the tutorial), not linked to you.

Why we use it

To run your account and matches, show rankings and profiles, keep play fair (anti-cheat, reports and moderation), send notifications you've asked for, provide purchases, and fix problems. Under UK and EU data protection law, we rely on providing the service you ask for (contract) and our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair, safe and working. Chat messages are kept so moderators can check reports and keep the Clubhouse safe.

What other players can see

Your name, country, character (its look), level, title, card, racket, ratings, rankings, match history and statistics, club and tournament results are public within the game. Tournament results may also be posted to our Discord server. Chat messages are seen by players 16 and over in the same Clubhouse world.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a few service providers who process it for us:

CloudflareHosting, database and network (servers worldwide).
Google, DiscordSign-in, only if you choose it.
StripePayments, only if you buy something.
Your browser's push serviceDelivers notifications, only if you turn them on (for example, Google or Apple).

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK and EU under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (and a short-lived one during sign-in). Your settings are stored on your own device. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, so there's nothing to opt out of.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays while you have an account. Tour points count for 28 days but stay in your history. Error reports, matchmaking wait times and Clubhouse chat messages and messages with our team are kept for up to 30 days. Device IDs are kept for 180 days after they were last used. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights and choices

You can download all your data or delete your account at any time: open the game, then Settings, then Your data. Deleting removes your account, ratings, friends, points, scores, chat messages, messages with our team and device IDs. Past matches stay in other players' histories but show as "Deleted player".

You also have the right to correct your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and complain to a data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk). For anything else, contact us below.

Children

Racket Club Live is for players aged 13 and over. If you're under the age required in your country, please ask a parent or guardian first. Typed chat is only for players 16 and over: younger players have quick chat (set phrases) instead, and never see typed messages.
